Art Nouveau
From the Larssons to Zappa
Sinuous plant motifs, quick whiplash lines and Japanese asymmetries. Art Nouveau: From the Larssons to Zappa traces the influences of Art Nouveau/Jugend in Swedish art around the turn of the twentieth century, but also shows how the style has been used and reinterpreted up until the present day. The exhibition brings together painting, sculpture, textile art, movies, fashion and posters from the turn of the twentieth century to today by artists such as Alfons Mucha, John Bauer, Gustaf Fjæstad, Tyra Kleen, Karin and Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn, the design group Front and Fredrik Raddum.
The project included exhibition logo, 200 page catalogue/book and printed matter.
